Janice Tayler received a BA Honours (1990) in Theatre and Dance from the University of Winnipeg and a BFA With Distinction (2004) in Painting and Drawing from Concordia University in Montreal. Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Tayler divides her time between Winnipeg, Montreal, New York and Toronto.  Currently, she is represented by Latitude 44 Gallery in Toronto and Warehouse One Artworks in Winnipeg.  For the 7th year in a row Tayler will be presenting her work at the Toronto Outdoor Art Show. Along with teaching painting and drawing from her studio she has also done lectures and demonstrations on her art as well as the History of Modern Art and Dance.
