Janice Tayler received a BA Honours (1990) in Theatre and Dance from the University of Winnipeg and a BFA With Distinction (2004) in Painting and Drawing from Concordia University in Montreal. Originally from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Tayler now lives and works in Montreal.  Currently, she is represented by Latitude 44 Gallery in Toronto.  She has had group and solo shows in Montreal, Toronto, New York and Winnipeg. For the 6th year in a row Tayler presented her work at the Toronto Outdoor Art Show. Along with teaching painting and drawing from her studio she has also done lectures and demonstrations on her art as well as the History of Modern Art and Dance.
